Library Clerk/ Montgomery Branch
The Fayette County Public Library is accepting resumes for a LIBRARY CLERK to serve the citizens of the Montgomery area. Duties include: circulation, shelving, providing reference and adult services, ILL management, weeding, and children’s programming among others. Some evening and weekend hours are required. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: A bachelor’s degree is preferred, but will consider a high school diploma with relevant experience. Applicant should have a love of reading and education, experience with the Internet, good communication and customer-service skills. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds. The position is located at the Montgomery branch. Salary is commensurate with education and experience. Benefits include a matched retirement plan.
