LIBRARY SERVICES

FREE SERVICES - Books, audiobooks, DVDs/Videos that can be checked out; Also offered: Notary service (must have photo ID), Story Hours, Summer Reading Programs, Computer access, Wi-Fi, magazines & newspapers, curriculum support, tax forms are available in the Spring of each year.  Tax assistance is offered at many libraries in the spring through AARP.

OTHER SERVICES: Copies .25 each, Faxes Sending: $3.00/1st page, $1/page thereafter; Faxes Receiving: $1.00 page

PUBLIC COMPUTER ACCESS - Each of the seven Fayette County Public Libraries is "on-line"!! From the library, patrons can search the on-line catalog of books for Fayette County, as well as several other libraries in West Virginia.  In addition, patrons can access the internet taking advantage of thousands of pages of on-line information.  Each library also has several reference databases made available through the WV Library Commission.  All libraries have at least four public computers with internet access for information gathering.  The Fayette County Public Libraries also offer wireless internet service.

SPECIAL COLLECTIONS
The West Virginia Collection-  housed in the Fayetteville Public Library, includes books by West Virginia authors, WV census information, some local family histories, local genealogy, back issues of West Virginia magazines, and other general West Virginia reference materials.
The Fayette County Archives - Housed in the Fayette County Public Libraries' Headquarters Building, the Fayette County Archives has documents and statistical information about Fayette County, as well as local histories, WV authors, and local legends.
